Hello People of the Fog! It’s the Dead by Daylight team's favorite time of year again and we’re pulling out all the stops. While most folks stick to celebrating on the 31st, we’ll be stuffing nearly every day of October with as much Dead by Daylight Halloween fun as possible.
There’s a LOT going on and since we don’t want you to miss any of it, we’ve created this October hub to keep you in the know.
Below you’ll find a breakdown of all the frightening and festive content we have on tap, capped off by a handy calendar to make sure every date stays top of mind. Check back often! We’ll be updating frequently as more info on each release becomes available.
All dates and activities are subject to change and will be updated right here as needed.
Dead by Daylight October Calendar
A whole month of Dead by Daylight in a single glance. Use this as your go-to resource for planning a busy October in the Fog. We’ll also be sharing this calendar on our social channels.
We've added an Instagram filter for The Trickster, designed to help anyone live out their K-pop dreams in a snap.
If the scariest thing to happen to you last Halloween was not getting your hands on a Dwightcrow charm… we have good news.
For a limited time, any player can celebrate the season by claiming their very own free Dwightcrow charm. Simply use the code DWIGHTCROW on PC and consoles from Oct. 1st 11AM EST to Oct. 31st 11:59PM EST.
The best thing about Dead by Daylight’s October 19th mid-chapter update? Mikaela Reid, of course. Our first original stand-alone Survivor enters the Fog with a unique backstory and a singular skillset.
Haunted by the passing of her father, Mikaela Reid found comfort in the unlikeliest of sources: horror stories. She loves Halloween, loves writing horror, and over time also developed a keen interest in witchcraft – something sure to pay off in the Entity’s Realm. Look for her to use her abilities to bring light to the darkness as the first-ever Survivor capable of harnessing the power of Totems to tip the scales in favor of herself and her allies.
In addition to our latest Survivor entering the Fog, this update will also include balance changes for several other existing characters, and more.
On October 20th, Dead by Daylight will be opening the 9th Tome in The Archives. Not only will this latest entry introduce three new chilling memories from our cast of characters, but in another first, two of those memories will play together as a duet offering two points of view of a single disturbing event. For more information, check out The Archives.
What would Halloween be without a Dead by Daylight in-game event? Step back into the Fog anytime between Oct. 21st and Nov. 4th to experience all the classic trappings of our annual Halloween event along with a few new tricks and treats, too.
Stay tuned – as we approach the event we’ll update this section with the event trailer, blogpost, and more.
