Character arcs developed and new threats were introduced, with the fourth season introducing the most formidable threat to date.
Henry Creel. 001. Vecna. The First. He goes by many names, but his goal remains the same: to spread the corruption of the Upside Down and reshape humanity as he sees fit.
Though the threat he poses is of a world-ending scale, the people of Hawkins will not stand idly by. Power and Cruelty: Vecna As A Killer
“Henry thought he was going to die. Instead, he became more powerful than ever before. From this new dimension, he committed a series of grisly murders as part of his plan to open gates to the real world and destroy all of humanity. But as he passed through a gate, a black fog appeared and he crossed over into a new realm—one unfamiliar, but full of potential.”
Cruel from an early age, Henry’s discovery that he possessed psychic powers led to the brutal murder of his mother and sister – a murder for which his father was blamed.
Sent to the Hawkins Lab for experimentation under the guise of study, Creel massacred his captors and fellow students alike, opening the door to the Upside Down and kickstarting the events of the series.
Now, the one they call Vecna has found himself in The Fog. Free to terrorize, taunt, and torment to his dark heart’s content, Henry Creel’s unrestrained Power grants him the means to achieve his goals.
The First’s Power
Creel can bend the world around him, manifesting the physical presence of the Upside Down and using it offensively. Entrap lesser beings in a mass of vines, drawing them deeper into your cursed web.
His control over the Upside Down also grants him terrifying mobility, along with the ability to emerge from the ground and strike all within his path. Those affected by the Upside Down’s touch are subjected to his curse, becoming far more vulnerable to his Power.
Those afflicted by his curse will find themselves questioning the nature of reality. Is that grandfather clock truly there, and why does its presence bring such misfortune? It is during these fateful moments that Vecna is at his most dangerous, trading a touch of speed for the ability to inflict direct damage.
New Survivors: Dustin and Eleven
Standing in his way are two of Hawkins’ most determined Survivors, Dustin Henderson and Jane “Eleven” Hopper. The former, an imaginative leader whose quick-thinking and imagination have saved his skin on countless occasions. The latter, a gifted psychic whose fierce devotion to her found family has driven her to push her abilities to incredible heights.
Each character brings a different set of skills and approaches into The Fog, as well as crucial experience facing off against Vecna. Reuniting with previous Survivors Steve Harrington and Nancy Wheeler, as well as the Legendary Outfit of Jonathan Byers, these new arrivals bring even more beloved Stranger Things characters to the roster.
Once the Chapter releases, you can have an entire team of Stranger Things Survivors facing off against Vecna in The Fog. It’s a massive moment for fans of the acclaimed Netflix series and newcomers alike, and we can’t wait for our players to turn The Entity’s Realm upside down.
Legendary Outfits: Robin Buckley and Eddie Munson
Stranger Things features an ensemble cast of incredible characters, and each one is likely somebody’s favourite. It was only fitting that we brought two more beloved additions to series into The Fog as Legendary Outfits for Nancy Wheeler and Dustin respectively: Robin Buckley and Eddie Munson.
Both Outfits feature original voice lines and can be purchased in the in-game store.
