Chaos Shuffle returns July 28th. Test your tenacity with a grab bag of fully randomized Perks, Survivor Items, and Add-Ons. Every Perk in the game is up for grabs, so get ready to embrace what The Entity gives you.
No need to worry — if your loadout happens to feature a Perk you’re unfamiliar with, you can read an explanation in the match details screen during a game. Just make sure to do it in a safe place...
All Perks will be given at Level 3, so you’ll always be working with them in their most effective form. Embrace the chaos, revel in the unexpected combinations, and make the most of the madness ahead.
Kill The Lights
Cool off in the shade with the return of Dead by Daylight's darkest modifier: Lights Out. Sneak through the shadows without any Perks, HUD, Terror Radius, or Scratch Marks for a chilling bare-bones experience.
Afraid of the dark? Make sure to grab a Lantern: a unique Survivor Item that'll guide your way to nearby Generators. Once found, you can place your Lantern on top of the Generator to reveal it to your teammates. Once that Generator has been completed, if the Lantern remains on top of it, the Killer will temporarily lose the ability to see Generator Auras.
Don't worry, Killers; you won't be left entirely in the dark. Lanterns can be destroyed to prematurely end the effect, and downing Survivors will knock items out of their hands, bringing you all back into the black.
Whether you're stalking through the shadows or hiding from the horrors, make the darkness your ally and stealth your way to success.
Double the Terror, Double the Fun
To close out our big summer bash, we're bringing back 2v8 for the last week of Summer Screams. Divide and conquer on a supersized Map where you must make the most of your numbers to win. Squad up as a swarm of Survivors or form a terrifying pair of Killers as you trade in your Hooks for Cages of Corruption.
Instead of Perks, both Killers and Survivors will use a Class System built around a different aspect of the hunt. Leverage the unique Skills of your Class to overcome the challenges of this massive Trial.
Dive into the deep end and fend off the summer scaries with all your friends in the Fog. The heat may be brutal, but when The Entity gets you in its clutches, your blood is sure to run cold.
