Nintendo Switch Cross-Progression Comes to Dead by Daylight

Cross Progression

Nintendo Switch joins the Dead by Daylight cross-progression party!

Back in September, Behaviour Interactive introduced a new cross-progression feature in Dead by Daylight, allowing players to sync accounts across Stadia and Steam. Today, we’re thrilled to add the Nintendo Switch to this list of platforms.

Unfamiliar with cross-progression? Let us explain: Cross-progression creates a single account for Behaviour games that syncs your progress, character levels, items, and outfits across all participating platforms. Logged 500 hours in Dead by Daylight on Steam and now you want to start playing on Switch? No problem – cross-progression lets you pick up exactly where you left off.

Sounds great! What do I have to do

Very little actually! Just head to account.bhvr.com and create a Behaviour Account. It’s free and takes only 2 minutes to complete. You’ll then be invited to link it to your Steam, Stadia, or Switch accounts, and you’re good to go.

The next time you log back into your game on either platform, your character progression, DLCs, and purchased or unlocked items will all be available to you. Items from the Bloodweb gathered on both platforms will be combined, and should the same character have two different levels, the highest one will be kept.

Looking for more details? Dive into the FAQ page on the Behavior Account website for everything you need.

And as an added bonus, simply opening a Behaviour Account and linking it to one platform will net you an exclusive in-game “Campfire Charm” that can be equipped for both Killers and Survivors!

Stay tuned for more updates – and see you in The Fog.
