Dead by Daylight’s Artists From The Fog Collection features new Outfits for The Oni, The Legion, The Huntress, The Twins, Yui Kimura, Yun-Jin Lee, and Felix Richter – all designed by talented artists from around the world.

Dead by Daylight’s ever-growing roster of characters has sparked no shortage of creativity from our loyal community. For years, we’ve watched fans and artists bring new Outfits to life, some of which even came to the game through our annual Community Cosmetic Contest.

Now, we’ve officially teamed up with several artists from around the world to design this new Collection. JayArtist from the USA brought The Huntress’ chilling Doll Collector Outfit to life:

Early 1900s carnivals and theme parks alongside primal and tribal aesthetics were the biggest inspirations for the design. I chose something that fits the character's backstory but also enhances the visual aspects by incorporating unique elements, such as the mixture of dolls, primitive clothing, traditional clothing, and amusement park objects.” - JayArtist

RainyRivulet from Canada designed the viscerally unsettling Flesh and Bones Outfit for The Twins:

For the design, I stumbled upon photos of Driftwood sculptures by artist Nagato Iwasaki. They were so eerie and fascinating, so I tried to merge that with little flowers to add a bit of cuteness.” - RainyRivulet

ManuelOjea from Spain came through with the Surprise Performance Outfit for Yun-Jin Lee:

"Imagining Yun-Jin Lee shining on stage was very inspiring for me. "A sophisticated and extravagant girl, perfect for exploring her elegant side.” - ManuelOjea

Poland’s Hunnybear created the Inspiration Seeker Outfit for architect extraordinaire Felix Richter:

I wanted to create an outfit that would be considered a bit out of the gender norms for a male survivor - that's why he's wearing a crop top, has dyed hair and painted nails, alongside some other fun little details. Happy late Pride Month!” - Hunnybear

In addition to those four Outfits, Ikumi Nakamura – Creative Director of Ghostwire: Tokyo and artist on The Evil Within 1 & 2 – created three unforgettable Outfits: The Oni’s Blind Revenge, The Legion’s School Gang (Julie) Outfit, and Yui Kimura’s Dark Racer Outfit.

Speaking at our Year 7 Anniversary broadcast, Nakamura revealed a bit of insight into her inspirations. “The Oni's a demon that's fallen to a curse in the country I'm from, taken from Japanese history,” she explains. “The time he got the curse, those clothes he was wearing – I considered those elements in the design I created.”

For The Legion’s Julie -- in our culture there's the concept of a delinquent schoolgirl, so I based her Outfit on that,” continues Nakamura. “Lastly, we have Yui. She's got that tough biker feel to her, which I really like. But in her private life, if she went to Harajuku, what kind of clothes would she buy from there? I wanted to know the answer, so I created that kind of design for her.

Product Manager Rose Li also shared some words to all the artists who submitted a design for this Collection. “Thank you to all of the participants that applied,” she says. “While we couldn't use all of them, I'm really grateful for all the applications and we look forward to doing something similar in the future.”

The Artists From The Fog Collection is available for purchase in the Dead by Daylight in-game store.
